November Empties

November has been another amazing month for empties, I am so pleased with myself. I finished up a few products that I love so have been saving for ages, but I decided it was time to get rid of them and start something new.
Dove Gentle Exfoliating Nourishing Body Wash - As a body scrub this wasn't very effective as there aren't enough scrubby particles. It was quite nice as a hydrating body wash though.

Frangipani scented coconut oil - I don't remember the brand of this and the label fell off. There's not really much to say about it other than it smells nice.

Crabtree and Evelyn Cleansing Body Polisher - This was nice but nothing amazing.

Savy by DB clear mascara - I used this when I couldn't find my usual brow gel. It's cheap and it did the trick.

Urban Rituelle Organic Hand Cream - I love the fresh lemon scent and it does a good job of keeping my hands hydrated.

Subtle Energies Gentle Neem Cleansing Gel - Love this. Read my review here

Canterbury Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub - This smells amazing, I love rose scented products. There wasn't enough scrubby bits but the smell made it a pleasure to use.
Haus of Gloi Who Needs Love Whipped Soap - I am totally in love with HoG whipped soaps.

Origins Calm to Your Senses - I'm so sad that I finished this, it is my favourite scent and it's now been discontinued. Luckily the amazing Audra James is going to make me a duplicate.

Make Me Smooth Soy Good Whipped Body Spread in Sweet Layers - I love this moisturiser and the scent is beautiful, it's a duplicate of a Clean scent.

Haus of Gloi Beguiled Pumpkin Butter -  If I could only use one brand of body products for the rest of my life it would be HoG, their products are the best.
Prevage Day - Review coming soon. Basically I like this but wouldn't purchase because of the price.

ChapStick 100% Naturals Lip Butter - An amazingly great product.
This is another pile of old products that I've throw out. I'm still in spring cleaning mode and have gotten rid of quite a few products so far. A whole pile went to my sister in law who was delighted with them, and I'm continuing to weed out old products and toss them.

Dr LeWinn's Line Smoothing Complext High Potency Treatment Mask - One of my favourite masks. Read my full review here

What's in my make-up bag?

I love looking at posts where people show what's in the make-up bag that they carry around with them. Karen did a great one recently.

Reading these posts got me thinking about the make-up that I carry around with me. I only carry around a lip balm, lipstick and a small face powder. I rarely use the powder and only touch up my lips during the day. I love the idea of being someone who touches up their powder, blush, eyeliner etc during the day, but I just don't, I can't be bothered.

What I wonder is do other people actually touch up their whole face during the day? I have a friend who will reapply her blush and face powder during the day. She touches up her face powder so often that she goes through a face powder every three or four months. It takes me about a year to use up a face powder!

I carry a make-up bag in the car for those days when I'm rushing out the door and need to apply my make-up in the car (with hubby driving of course!)

Once I've put my make-up on that's it. I don't check it or reapply it during the day.

I've never seen someone reapplying their whole make-up during the day, but surely people must? Or do they just carry everything around with them just in case?

Fisher Price 1-2-3 Crawl-Along Snail

Baby toys are a whole new world for me. They are something that I never really thought about but I've realised that they are very important for babys development and to keep bub entertained. At the moment keeping bub entertained is a very difficult job, he requires constant stimulation and is always on the go.

Thanks to Product Talk by Nuffnang I was given the opportunity to test out the 1-2-3 Crawl Along Snail for bub and we both love it. It keeps bub entertained for ages and that is a small miracle at the moment. His favourite part is the mirror as he loves looking at himself. He touches his forhead to the mirror and gives himself a kiss. The other thing he loves about the Crawl Along Snail is the noises it makes. It makes funny noises like "whee" and it plays a few tunes, including his current favourite song "If You're Happy and You Know It".

The Crawl Along Snail has a few different settings. It can be set to stay still or it can roll along for bub to chase around the room. As Chai is crawling we have it set to roll along and he chases it all over the house.

I love that it has two different volume levels so I don't have to listen to it blasting away all day long.

This is a great toy that I'd happily purchase. I've bought a few of them as christmas presents for friends. The Crawl Along Snail costs $31.95 but you can regularly get it on sale for less.
