My night time cleansing routine

It's taken a very long time, but I finally have a night time cleansing routine that I'm happy with. In the past I've used products that I like, the reason I'm so pleased with this routine is that the products are natural, they're from Australian small businesses and they're zero waste.

I've finally started double cleansing. To be perfectly frank, I still don't see the point, however I like using both of these cleansers so I'm giving it a go to see if it makes any difference to the condition of my skin.

The order I use them in depends on how my skin is feeling. If it's feeling good I'll use Kiss Ready first and Danearth second. When my skin is dry I use Danearth first and Kiss Ready second.

Both cleansers are gentle, can be used on the eye area and don't irritate my skin. Danearth leaves no trace of cleanser behind whilst Kiss Ready leaves my skin feeling hydrated. On nights when I need extra hydration, Kiss Ready is a great preparation for serum or face oil, it gives a good shot of hydration to parched skin.

I purchased my Kiss Ready Rose Omega Face Balm for $58 from their website.

I purchased my Danearth Facial Cleanser for $19.95 from their stall at the Bunbury Markets, however if you aren't local you can get in touch with them via their Face Book page here.

Rose Omega Face Balm Ingredients: shea butter, oat flour, candelilla wax, chia oil, sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, rose oil, vitamin e.

Facial Cleanser Ingredients: rose water, jojoba oil, almond oil, green clay, essential oils of clary sage, geranium and citrus seed extract.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Colour Sazan Nude

Bobbi Brown have recently released three new Crushed Lip Colours made in collaboration with three different influencers.

The shades are Sazan Nude a soft pink nude created by Sazan Hendrix, Molly Wow a bright pink coral created by Molly Chiang and Darling Dalalid a rich voilet plum created by Dalalid AlDoub.
I have no idea who any of these people are, however I love the shades they've created.
The temptation to get to get Sazan Nude and Darling Dalalid was strong, however I restrained and only got Sazan Nude. Thanks to the lack of swatches online, I wasn't sure if it would be too warm for me, but it's not. It's the perfect, cool pinky brown.

I don't know about everyone else, but I've really struggled to find a good cool toned pink/nude shade for my pale skin. They all seem to be too warm or too brown. The limited edition lipstick released by She is Sarah Jane and Shanghai Suzy was perfect, but alas it was limited edition and no longer available.

Thankfully, Sazan Nude is perfect and still available. I think it'll sell out quickly though so if you are interested, get it whilst you can.

Sazan Nude
The Crushed Lip Colour's are a beautiful lipstick. They have great, buildable pigment and feel very balm like on my lips. One layer gives a light, just bitten effect and several layers give an opaque, long lasting colour.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color Sazan Nude swatched heavily on top and one layer on the bottom

Sazan Nude is $46 and available at Bobbi Brown counters and online, Mecca Cosmetica, David Jones and Myer stores.

Have you tried the Crushed Lip Colours? Should I get a back up?

Thoughts of the week

1. Meghan Markle's wedding make-up has been released. I don't buy it. They claim to have used foundation, an eyeshadow palette, contour palette, eyeliner, mascara and lip balm. That's it.
Now I know she went for a natural look but I do not believe that's all the make-up she wore.
What about highlighter, concealer, powder/setting spray, lip liner, brow product?

2. Having said that, I love that she went for a natural look. Whilst I love to see the highly made up looks, natural beauty is wonderful too. Ideally, I'd like to see all different make-up looks trending, so everyone feels comfortable being whoever and whatever they want to be.

3. I've been in a blogging rut lately, I have no idea what to blog about. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Every time I come on here to write a beauty post I end up writing a FFS Friday post full of my rantings about whatever has got me thinking lately.

4. If you are yet to try the Nutra Organics Mermaid Latte, get onto it, if only to have a beautiful blue drink.

5. Natralus have an online store now, great news for those of us who have trouble finding their products in store.

FFS Friday - Relief

Finally, after two and a half years of stress, appointments, meetings and hell, we've officially made the decision. Together.

We've withdrawn the boys from school, never to return (unless they want to).
We'll home school for the rest of this term then next term we'll try distance education. If that works for us, we will continue with it, if it doesn't we'll stop the distance education and start home schooling.

I can't express how relieved I feel that we've finally reached this decision together. I decided last year that home schooling would be best for us, but Tiger wasn't on board. He would have agreed to it and supported me if I'd made the call but I didn't want to. I wanted Tiger to understand and know that it was the right decision for our boys and our family.

Letting Tiger deal with the school was what did it. Prior to dealing with them he had no idea what school was really like. Sitting in the kindy class for a few days and dealing with the deputy and Chai's teacher showed Tiger how crappy school is for our boys.

He also sees how different Chai is when he's not at school. Our household is different. We're calm, relaxed and happy. So very different. We're free, finally. Free of the institution that is the Australian schooling system. I couldn't be happier about this. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

No more awful school mornings, no more after school meltdowns, no more leaving a sobbing boy and walking away feeling like the worst mother in the world, no more worrying about how my baby is coping during the day. We are free. We have no rush, no schedule, nothing we have to do other than enjoy each day.

We've been lazing around in the mornings, getting up when we want to, laying on the trampoline in the sun in the afternoons, going to the park after lunch, visiting the library, eating healthier and thoroughly enjoying life. Finally.

I don't look at my boy and see sad, sad eyes. His eyes sparkle with happiness. I finally have my happy boy back. Life is good. So very good.

Nude by Nature Complexion Perfecting Oval Brush Set

Oval brushes are something that I've looked at for ages but never purchased. I have enough brushes that I didn't see the need to add more to my collection, especially when I wasn't sure if I'd even like them. The only reason I purchased this set is because they were on clearance for $5.68 instead of $50. At that price I figured I had nothing to lose if I didn't like them.

Surprisingly enough, I love them. They're super easy to use, don't soak up all the product and apply like a dream. I use the large brush for foundation, the medium for blush and bronzer and the small brush for concealer. It also does a fairly decent job of applying eye shadow too.

The brushes are very densely packed and don't shed. They're synthetic, soft and great quality. The handles are plastic but they don't feel cheap.

I use my brushes every day. If you are on the look out for some oval brushes, I highly recommend these ones

Lip Lip Lip Balm Holder

Isn't she beautiful?

If you are like me you're never without a lip balm (or two) close at hand. I always carry one in my pocket and several in my handbag, there's one on my bedside table, one in the car, one in the bathroom, one in my wardrobe, one on the book case, one in the kitchen etc. They're everywhere.

Mine tend to get lost in my handbag, so a little while ago I began the hunt for a lip balm holder. It's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. There are none available locally so I started to search online. I found lots, but none that I was in love with until this little beauty arrived in the mail.

It's perfect! Sufficiently deep that the lip balm won't fall out, small enough to fit on my key ring and it's pink! If you aren't a fan of pink they also come in black and yellow. The clip is very sturdy so there's no worry about your lip balm holder coming lose or falling off

Lip Lip lip balm holders cost $9.95 and can be purchased from their webstore.

*Note: This product was provided to me.

Thoughts of the week

1. Along with a billion other people I watched the royal wedding. The in laws were here so they watched with me. Tiger was uninterested. MIL's commentary made it so much more entertaining.

2. Watching the guests arrive. "Oh look, there's Opera." Me: What opera? I can't hear any opera. Tiger: It's Oprah.

3. Upon seeing Harry waiting nervously for his bride. "He's too solomon, he needs to smile more."

4. When Meghan was arriving "Oh look FIL, she's wearing a veil. That reminds me of our wedding."

5. On Meghan's dress "It's too plain, where's the lace? I don't like it at all."

6. Watching the crazy priest "What is wrong with him? He thinks he's giving a sermon. It's supposed to be a wedding not a sermon. Someone needs to tell him to stop, he's ruining the wedding. He's only doing it cause he wants to be on tv."

7. After spending the whole time criticising everything she saw "Oh what a beautiful wedding, it was wonderful."

FFS Friday - The suite life

Last Sunday was Mothers Day. My day sucked. It sucked last year too. Laying in bed that night, feeling sorry for myself, I realised why it sucked so much. Expectations. My own silly expectations.

See I woke up in the morning hoping to have a lovely day. I hoped that the boys wouldn't fight, that they might pamper me a bit and that we'd have a wonderful day together. Stupid. They're 4 and 7, as if they're going to pamper me and not fight. That's not how kids work, well maybe some kids, but not mine. Mine love to fight, they must because they do it constantly. They tell me they don't like fighting yet they continue to do it, so I can only assume that they love it.

Anyhow, back to my subject. It's funny how we put all these crazy expectations on a certain day. Inevitably things don't work out the way we'd hoped and we're disappointed. Next year I won't be so silly. I'll know that it's going to be a day like any other day, then I won't be upset when things don't go how I'd hoped they would.

Now, enough of the self pity. Have I ever told you about the time I had a car accident....with a lounge suite? Grab a cuppa and I'll tell you all about it.

I'm driving down the road, minding my own business, on my way to Dad's house. I'm in a 110 km zone doing the speed limit when a car towing a trailer goes flying past me. He would have been doing at least 140. There was a lounge suite in his trailer, unsecured. I could see him driving like an idiot so I slowed down as I didn't want to be anywhere near him when he caused an accident.

A little way up the road he'd slowed down and I got stuck behind him. He was still speeding and I could see the lounge suite lifting, so I slowed right down to 60 k's. It was dual lanes and there was a car next to me and one behind me, so I had nowhere to go.

Next thing the lounge suite flew off the trailer and landed on the road in front of me. Thankfully I was only doing around 40 k's when I hit it.

The idiot towing the trailer gets out of his car and the first thing he says to me is "It's not my trailer." FFS.

So what? Who gives a damn who the trailer belongs to, you're towing it, it's your responsibility! I tell him I don't care who owns the trailer, as he's driving he's responsible for it. His response is "But it's not my trailer." FFS. Again, so what?!

We continue this back and forth discussion where he tries to convince me the accident isn't his fault because the trailer doesn't belong to him. After about five minutes of this I'm ready to punch him so I call Dad and ask him to come down.

Dad doesn't want to come down because I'm uninjured and the car is drivable, so I tell him that he either comes to where I am or he comes to the police station to bail me out after I've decked the idiot in front of me.

The idiot gets upset at hearing himself described as an idiot, however by this point I don't give a crap about how he'as feeling, because he clearly was an idiot.

Dad arrives, gets the guys details and off we go. The idiot and his mates put the lounge back into the trailer, unsecured and continue on their journey! Further proof that they really were idiots.

So I get back home to Perth, get my car fixed and the bill comes to $500. I call the idiot and tell him he owes me $500, then he starts crying broke. Considering that his family owned one of the most popular pubs in town at the time, I knew that he wasn't broke.

I tell him that he owes me the money and there will be someone at his house to collect it at 5pm. Next thing I get a text message from one of his mates saying that there's no need to threaten the idiot. WTF? I tell the mate to mind his own business and make sure that the idiot has my money ready by 5pm.

At this point you're probably expecting that something else will go wrong, but I'm happy to report that when Dad went there at 5pm they gave him the $500 and that was it.

Every now and again I see the idiot in town. He's riding a moped now, which is a good thing considering how bad he is at driving a car.

What's in my daily make-up bag

I was getting a little bored with the products in my every day make-up bag so decided to switch them around. As much as I want to finish products, I also want to enjoy what I'm using. There's no point forcing myself to use products when I'm bored with them, it defeats the purpose of wearing make-up.

Nude by Nature Mineral Finishing Veil
I use this to set my foundation and concealer. It does a great job. It's not a product that I'd repurchase, purely because I prefer the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders.

Maybelline Creamy Beige Colour Tattoo Leather
For a quick, easy eye look that lasts all day and doesn't smudge, this is  my go to. I'd love to find a natural non creasing cream shadow, if you know of any please let me know. Meanwhile, I have barely made a dent in this one so I'll be using it for ages.

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer
I so wish we had the full range of Soap and Glory products in Australia. They have so many wonderful things that we can't get our hands on, the Kick Ass Concealer being one of them. Easily one of my top five favourite concealers, I use Kick Ass daily to cover my under eye circles. It doesn't crease or fade and also works well at hiding dark spots and blemishes.

Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer

SSE has cult status for a reason, it's amazing. With one product I can have a concealer, full coverage foundation, tinted moisturiser, light or medium coverage foundation. For my usual daily look I'll mix a tiny bit of SSE with primer to create a medium coverage foundation. I then also use it as a spot concealer and dark circle concealer. Finding the right shade can be difficult, so I recommend going into a store to get colour matched.

Hourglass Vanish Champagne Flash Highlighter
Isn't it cute! My last Beauty Loop box contained this super cute travel sized highlighter. I added it to my make-up bag because it's small enough that I'll finish it relatively quickly. I use it on my cupids bow and to highlight under my brows.

Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara
After Lancome's Flextencils was discontinued I haven't found a mascara that I love. Plenty of them are okay, but I'm yet to fall in love. I like Super Sizer, it makes my lashes look good and isn't clumpy. It's not love though.

ModelCo More Brows
I've never understood the purpose of tinted brow gels until I realised that they work really well over brow pencil to add a bit of extra colour and hold. This is the step in my brow routine that I didn't realised I needed. I picked this up when ModelCo was half price at Woolworths.

Artdeco Mineral Eye Styler
Artdeco have some beautiful products and they're very reasonably priced. I'm surprised that you don't hear more about them on blogs and youtube. The Mineral Eye Styler is a long lasting, easy to use, twist up eye pencil. It's not as good as my beloved, discontinued Essence liner, but it comes in a good second.

Shu Uemura Acorn Hard Brow Pencil
This is the brow pencil that just won't die. I've been using it daily for around three years now and I still have some left. Admittedly it's nearly done, I'm down to the nub and determined to finish it.

Bobbi Brown Dusty Pink Art Stick
I've had this sitting in my collection for a while now. I used it once, wasn't fussed with it so put it away. I'm not sure why I got it out again but I'm glad I did because it's a gorgeous, long lasting lipstick.

Dr Brandt Xtend Your Youth Lip Filler and Volumizer
I am so close to finishing this and I'll be glad to see the back of it. It's done absolutely nothing for my lips. No plumping, no volumising, no filling, nothing. The only reason I haven't tossed it is that it makes an ok lip primer.

Givenchy Magic Lip and Cheek Balm
Oh how I love my Magic Lip and Cheek Balm. It's one of those colour adapting products that I'm obsessed with. It gives a beautiful flush of colour on my cheeks. I only need a tiny bit as the colour brightens up for about five minutes after I apply it, so when I put on too much I get a shock when I look in the mirror and see that I have clown cheeks. Not a good look. I also use it as a lip colour, it gives a nice sheer wash of colour.

Thoughts of the week

1. There's so much fuss made about bloggers and Instagram users disclosing when they receive a product for free or when they're doing a sponsored post. What I don't understand is why print journalists don't have the same expectations placed on them. Is it because everything they write about was provided to them or is a paid advertisement? They deliberately write in a misleading way to make it sound like they love the products, so in my opinion they should also have to disclose. Until then, it's safe to assume that everything they write about is a free product or paid advertisement.

2. I made healthy chocolate this week and it was so easy! The recipe called for cocoa butter but I didn't have any, so I mixed equal parts of cacao and coconut oil, added agave to taste and that was it! I wanted to be fancy so blended up dates then in a mini muffin tray I put a layer of chocolate, set it in the fridge for 15 minutes then added a layer of dates and the rest of the chocolate. I sprinkled some coconut on top, set it all in the fridge and it was done. Easy and super yummy.

3. Who bought something at the Sephora sale? I didn't! I was very tempted to get some YSL items, but resisted. I did get the Priceline skincare bag though, we needed sunscreen so I ordered it online first thing Friday morning. Now to wait for it to arrive.

4. If you want to get hold of the limited edition Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick colours, they're on the Bobbi Brown Website now. They're being launched in store and Myer and David Jones today. I predict Sazan Nude will sell out fast so if you've got your eyes on that one, buy it asap.

5. The Body Shop's new Body Yoghurts are amazing. They're vegan and absorb so quickly, within a few minutes, perfect for winter.

FFS Friday - Judgey McJudgey

You know what I've been thinking about lately? I'll tell you. Conformity. Every day, in so many ways, we are expected to conform.

School is about teaching us to conform, to be like everyone else, do what we're told and not question it.

Society is about conforming. In various subtle ways, every day, we're told that if we aren't like everyone else then there's something wrong with us.

Here's the perfect example:
My boys wear what they like. They choose their outfits, they get dressed. As long as the clothing is weather appropriate I'm happy. Often it's not weather appropriate, but I choose my battles.

Monday we had a busy day. Chai was wearing light green flannelette pj pants that were three sizes too big, tucked into blue ankle braces (the ones you wear when you've twisted your ankle), no shoes and a black and dark green hoodie camo top. Nice.

Eljay was wearing West Coast Eagles flannelette pj pants with a grey and blue striped t-shirt/hoodie and no shoes.
They were comfortable so it was all good.

Whilst we were out I counted the number of people who felt they had to let the boys and I know that their outfits weren't appropriate. I stopped counting when I got to double digits.
The comments were so subtle.
"Nice pj pants boys!"
"Are your boys sick?" 'No' "Then why are they wearing pj's?" 'Cause they want to'
"Ohhh, look who dressed themselves today"
"I wish I could wear my pj's all day" You could, you just choose not to.
"Fancy dress today boys?"
"Love the outfits" said in a very disapproving voice.
"Haven't you done the washing, your boys are wearing pj's"
"No shoes again boys!"
"You kids should have shoes on"
"Where are your shoes"

Aside from the blatant judgement, what makes people think they have the right to comment on a childs appearance?

Other life choices are also questioned
"Why aren't you at school"
"You have to go to school"
"How will you learn"

Really people, fuck off with your opinions and judgement. Just because someone is different doesn't mean they're wrong. It's okay to be different, it's okay not to conform, it's okay to make your own choices for your own reasons. It's all okay.

For those of you who choose to march to the beat of your own drum, good on you!
For those who don't want to, good on you too!

Let's stop the judgement and give people the space to be who they truly are, without fear of judgement.

What is your all time favourite lip gloss?

If you had to pick an all time favourite lip gloss, what would it be? It can be any gloss, discontinued or not.

I've had three favourite glosses. Bonne Bell Lip Lites in Mocha Mousse, Lancome Juicy Tubes and a clear Sportsgirl branded gloss from about ten years ago that had the most amazing flavour.

Out of them, my all time favourite is Bonne Bell Mocha Mousse. For years it was the only gloss that owned, I went through countless tubes. If I could get it recreated I'd do so in a heartbeat, it was perfection.

Sadly it's long been discontinued. I've been hanging on to a few tubes for old times sake but binned them recently cause they were just taking up space.

What was your all time favourite lip gloss?

April empties

It's empties time again! April was a pretty slow month for empties, I didn't manage to finish much. I did however, finish a few skin care products that I've been working on for ages, so that was satisfying.

After working on a lot of these skin care products for ages, it's nice to see them gone. I'm back to using samples and travel sized products, I'm determined to clean the clutter off my counter and only have a selection of full sized products. Samples and travel sizes are great but they make my counter look too messy. I leave them out so that I don't forget to use them.

Body Blendz face masks
I was lucky enough to receive a selection of Body Blendz masks to try. In short, they were all lovely. You can read my full review here

Lani Tropical Super Serum
I really wanted to love this but I just don't. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't an awful product, it just didn't do anything. When I didn't use it my skin was exactly the same. I was also disappointed that it didn't smell nice, I thought it'd smell like jasmine but it didn't have much of a scent.
Lani describes this as a potent facial elixir with a nutrient rich blend of tropical oils and divinely scented jasmine to leave your skin incredibly healthy, smooth and luminous. I wish it'd been right cause that would have been wonderful. Alas, this was a fail for me.

Kiss Ready Skin Deodorant
I'm stinky again now that I've finished my beloved Kiss Ready deodorant. It's the best natural deodorant I've tried. Considering I've tried over fifty of them and have been trialling natural deodorants for more than seven years, that's saying something.
As luck would have it I also ran out of my second favourite natural deodorant, so I'm smelling bad at the moment.
I'll be ordering again as soon as Louella has the new sun butter in stock.

The Physic Garden Sensitive Deodorant
This was one of the first effective natural deodorants that I found and it's still a favourite. I've already purchased another tub.

Graham's Natural Moisturising Cream
This is an amazing, very reasonably priced anti-aging moisturiser that I'll definitely be repurchasing. Graham's have a lovely range of products, they're suitable for sensitive skin, Australian owned and made and so very cheap. If you've yet to try a Graham's product, you're missing out.

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil
I've had my Lotus Face Treatment Oil for years, used it on and off but never stuck with it. For summer it's a great, lightweight oil that absorbs quickly and keeps my face hydrated. If I hadn't discovered my beloved Kiss Ready Skin Light Chia oil I'd repurchase, however Kiss Ready is nicer, cheaper and from an Aussie small business so it wins.

Eco Pure Body Scrub
This was a total waste of money. I don't know how they can call it a body scrub, it's more like a shower gel with a few scrubby bits thrown in. It smelled awful too.
My boys poured most of it down the drain when they were having a shower, I wasn't upset.

Alaffia Deodorant
These are my favourite stick style natural deodorants. They aren't easy to get hold of in Australia, I get mine from iHerb. Now that I've found Kiss Ready I won't be repurchasing, however I will keep one on hand for when I travel due to the plastic packaging.

Vanessa Megan Winter Gray Natural Perfume
My BFF gave this to me because it wasn't her type of scent. It's definitely my type of scent.
I wore this exclusively until it was gone and going back to synthetic perfumes was difficult, they smell so much stronger!

100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream
With all the raves this gets I was expecting amazing results. I didn't get them. It's funny how a product can work so well for some people yet do nothing for others. I love the scent and how it keeps my eye area hydrated, but that's all it did. No reduction in dark circles, no plumping of fine lines, nothing. Needless to say, I won't repurchase.

Samples:
I loved (and purchased a full size) of the Origins Drink Up Mask.
The UD Primer Potions were lovely, I really liked the tinted versions and will purchase one when I've finished my current primers.
I love the Kevyn Aucoin highlighter but haven't bought a full size yet, it's only a matter of time.
The Nip and Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser was lovely.
I already own a full size of The Body Shop Italian Fig perfume, it's beautiful.
Everything else was unremarkable or too small for me to form an opinion.

Thoughts of the week

1. Chemist Warehouse now have free shipping for purchases over $50 (it used to be $100). This is wonderful news for those of us who don't have a store nearby.

2. I'm compiling a list of Aussie small business brands. If you know any great small businesses, please let me know.

3. This week Huda beauty wrote a blog post about vaginal whitening. WTF? Firstly, I assume she was talking about the vulva not the vagina. Secondly, vulvas come in all colours, they do not need whitening! It's not only ridiculous it's dangerous!

4. I started using my Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer again recently and have no idea why I ever stopped. It's such a versatile product. If you can find a colour match, go for it, you won't regret it.

5. Carman's Super Seed and Grain crackers are awesome.

FFS Friday - Awesome

A funny thing happens when you stop putting on a front and start being honest with people. They don't know how to react.

For example: People regularly tell me that they don't know how I cope. I hear it all the time. Instead of making some disparaging comment, I now tell them two things. I have no choice and I don't cope.

Do you know what they say? Nothing. Not a single thing.

Why are we so uncomfortable with honesty? Why does the thought of someone struggling feel so awkward? Why do we see rawness and emotions as weak? It takes more strength to be honest and raw than it does to pretend everything is okay.

It's time we all started being honest and raw. We need to stop saying "it could be worse" and start owning our pain and struggles.

Yes, it could be worse but that doesn't mean that what you're going through right now isn't really, really difficult. You are allowed to own your pain, to struggle and to show that struggle. You don't have to pretend that it's all okay.

You know what happens when you are brave enough to be raw? You find an amazing group of people who will support you. You realise that they won't judge, they won't run away, they'll just be there. Sometimes they might have nothing to say other than "fuck" but that's okay because they're there and that's all you need.

By the way Mrs B. For the record, you are an amazing mother. I know you say that any mum would do what you do, but they wouldn't and they don't. You're awesome.

BodyBlendz Masks

BodyBlendz is a recently launched brand who sell face masks and body scrubs through Chemist Warehouse.

I was sent a selection of their masks to trial and review.

I've found that every one of the masks stings when I first put it on but after a few minutes the sting goes away and my skin does not look red or irritated after use.

None of the masks stay put if you're moving around, so you're forced to relax whilst using them, which isn't a bad thing.

Dry skinned beauties will love the rose face mask. Designed to provides hydration and radiance, I love the way it makes my skin feel soft and plumped.
The collagen face mask illuminates and brightens and makes my skin look fresh and bright.

The Collagen Eye Mask kit contains five masks to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and restore tone and texture.
They contain Vitamin E, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid.

I've recently developed an eye mask obsession. I love the difference they make to my eye area and I love how easy they are to use. I put them on when I get up, whilst I preparing the boys breakfast. I take them off before the shower and have bright looking peepers all day. Winning.

Due to their non stick factor, I can't use my BodyBlendz masks in the morning like I usually do, so I use them at night after the boys are in bed, when I can lay down for half an hour. They leave my eye area looking rested and refreshed. Unfortunately the effects have disappeared by the time I wake up the next morning. I'd be interested to see what the long term benefits would be after using the masks for a few months.

The lip masks are great. As strange as they feel, I really love the results I get from using lip masks. My lips feel soft, hydrated and look healthier. Like the other masks, these sting when I first put them on but after a few minutes the sting goes away.

All of the masks have a lot of serum in the packet, there's always heaps left which I rub in once I've taken the mask off.

Have you tried BodyBlendz products?
