September Favourites

WotNot facial wipes travel case - Just when I thought WotNot wipes couldn't get any better, they bring them out in a refillable travel case. And it's not just any old travel case, it's brilliant. It's very sturdy and has a huge mirror on the back. Awesome.

Lord and Berry smudge proof eyeliner in sand - Many years ago Revlon had a deep taupe eye liner that I loved. I used so many of them and since it's been discontinued I have been searching for one the same, without any luck. Until now! I got this with my Beauty Bay order and it is the exact shade of dark taupe I've been looking for. I like to use this to line under my eyes, it adds definition without being too dark. Now that I'm not working I don't wear a lot of make-up, so the lighter colour of this is just what I need.

Physician's Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in blue eyes - It's a big call, but the brown shade in this trio could well be my favourite eyeliner. You know how there's always one product you are searching for but can never find? For me it's eyeliner. I want an eyeliner that is dark brown, but not too dark, that I can wear without eyeshadow to give my eyes definition, but not look like I'm just wearing eyeliner which would look a bit funny. This is the colour. It's a medium dark brown that is the ideal shade for my pale skin. The colour is slightly darker than my Lord and Berry liner, perfect for use on my upper lash line.

Haus of Gloi Coconut Creme lip balm - I've been using this on and off for a while now, but this month I've been loving the coconut flavour. It's a great spring flavour.

Benefit High Brow - As part of Project 100 Pan I went through some of my make-up and pulled out a few products that I wanted to use up. It's a sad testament to how much make-up I have that all of the products I pulled out I really love, but as I have so much most of my loved products don't get used. In the past I used this every day then for some reason I stopped. I've been using this every day again as it's a great way to subtly brighten up my eye area and it's so quick and easy to use.

Dior Serum de Rouge lipstick in 640 - This is another product I pulled out to use as as part of my project pan. Again, I don't know why I neglected this as it's a beautiful lipstick. It feels like a hydrating lip balm and the colour is my perfect, everyday, minimal make-up lipstick.

Tisserand De-Stress - I got a pack of three Tisserand blends and I've been using them religiously since they arrived. Out of all of them, De-Stress is my favourite, the scent is beautiful. I'd happily wear this as a perfume, so it being a stress reliever is an added bonus.

Becca Cream Blush in Turkish Rose - I've never really liked this blush so it's sat unloved in my collection for a while. I pulled it out a few weeks ago intending to use it up as part of P100P and now I love it. I have no idea what I didn't like about it before, because it really is beautiful. It gives a gorgeous wash of colour and it makes my skin look luminous. I thought that when I finished this I wouldn't replace it, but this will definitely be a repurchase once my project pan is over.

WotNot Travel Wipes and Physicians Formula eyeliner were provided for review. All other products I purchased myself.

  2. Finally my thoughts on eyeliner articulated perfectly! I am not very skilled with eye make-up (I do roughly the same raccoon eyes look every morning), but I'm fussy - contradiction in terms right? It's the second time in literally 2 days I bump into a happy comment about the Physician's Formula eyeliner, so I'm now intrigued enough to mosey down to the nearest Priceline and investigate :)

    2. Foolproof does sound perfect! I might rebel and get the Blue Eyes pack, although mine are hazel. Ha!
