Versatile Blogger Award

I've been tagged by the lovely Michelle from Grace and Glitter. It's been a while since I've done a tag so thanks for tagging me Michelle!

With this tag I share with you seven random facts about myself, so here goes.

1. I have three tattoos. I got my first tattoo years ago when it wasn't the norm for people to have tattoos, now it seems like everyone has one. If they had a semi permanent ink I'd get more tattoos but as they don't I'm not planning on getting any more. If you've heard it said that tattoos are addictive, once you get one you'll want more, it's true.

2. I've got my motorbike license. I haven't ridden for years but once bub is older I plan to buy a bike and start riding again. I've had my license for 16 years and rode a Kawasaki Ninja 900.

3. Most of you probably already know this, but I have crohn's disease. I was diagnosed in 2007. Being at home, bored and sick with crohn's disease is why I started blogging,

4. I do martial arts. I haven't been training recently but I plan to go back soon. To look at me most people wouldn't imagine that I have a violent side but I do! I've been doing martial arts since I was 21. My favourite styles are Arnis (stick and knife fighting), kickboxing and boxing. I'm planning on trying Wing Chung and Kung Fu next.

5. Despite my penchant for martial arts and motorbikes, I'm a girly girl. I have no idea how to do boy things like operate a bbq, use a drill or lawnmower etc.

6. Hubby and I got engaged six months after we got together and were engaged for five years. We got married when we were 37.

7. Hubby arranged our whole wedding. If I'd had my way we would have got married by Elvis in Vegas or at the registry office, however hubby wanted the big white wedding. We compromised, got married at the beach and had a cocktail party in a penthouse overlooking the beach. The only thing I organised was the celebrant, my dress, hair and make-up, hubby did everything else.

  1. It's great that Crohn's disease isn't defining your life. :) And WOW, you've definitely got another side to you beyond the girliness! xx
