Project 50 Pan

You'd think after the epic failure of my last attempt at P50P I would have learned my lesson, but I haven't. Like an addict who falls off the wagon only to get back on again, I am once again going to attempt a Project 50 Pan. This time will be different because it's for all things beauty. That means until I've finished fifty products I won't be buying any make-up, skincare, body care or hair care, unless I totally run out of a particular item (for instance, I'm about to run out of eye make-up remover and I don't have another one to replace it, so I will buy a new one).

This time I have people joining me to help keep me strong. Jessica, Jade and Kimberley have already started their pan projects (some are doing P20P and some are doing P50P), Karen started hers yesterday, Tara, Jade and Jac will be starting theirs soon. Tara is doing 5 out 1 in, which I'll probably do once I've finished my P50P.

I actually started P50P last week but didn't make it official until today. Like Karen, I have more than enough products to last me into my next life time, so I have no need to buy anything new. Thankfully, Karen is very tough with the rules, I've been tempted to buy a few things already but a quick text message to Karen and she talks me out of it. She's even banned me from buying stuff for bub! (I thought I'd be able to buy things I wanted and say they were for bub, she knows me too well!)

I'm making two exceptions to my P50P. For my birthday I'm planning to buy an Inglot palette, Chantecaille Lip Chic and Tom Ford lipstick. Also, we might be going overseas in June, if we do I'll be buying some things duty free (not sure what yet).

I'll be posting my progress regularly, along with links to the posts of the other bloggers joining me. If you are doing P50P as well let me know and I'll add your posts to my list. Wish me luck everyone!

    1. I don't know about that. Last time I tried a P50P I failed dismally. Hopefully this time I'll be successful.

  2. You can do it! Using up products is quite addictive, and I'm sure it will go quite quickly especially as you're including body products too! I can't wait to see more of your progress.

    1. I love using things up so I'm hoping that will be enough motivation for me to stay strong this time. Having other people do it too helps. If I stayed away from blogs I wouldn't be tempted to buy anything, it's reading blogs and twitter than makes me want to buy things.

    1. You can share Karen with me, I'm sure she won't mind. She is very harsh, she won't let me buy anything at all!
