In Essence Detox Body Polish

I've said in the past that In Essence have amazing GWP's. Every GWP includes at least one full sized product along with other travel sized products. It's a great way to try their products and very clever of them because I've repurchased everything that I've received as a GWP so far. I got the Detox Body Polish as part of one of the GWP's and not surprisingly I loved it. It's made with grapefruit, ginger, kelp, ginseng, dead sea salts and sugars.

In Essence say: This stimulating body polish harnesses the power of grapefruit pure essential oil to boost circulation and assist the breakdown of body fats. Warming ginger activates the metabolism, while cellulite-busting kelp and ginseng strengthen and tone. Dead sea salts blended with brown and white sugards, deeply detoxify and recondition skin, which soothing rice bran extract, jojoba and olive oils leave the body feeling nourished silky and smooth.

Directions: for daily exfoliation, apply a handful of this deeply detoxing body polish to damp skin and scrub energetically in circular motions, focusing on thighs, buttocks and dry skin patches. Rinse.

For an intensive weekly detox treatment, this body polish can be applied directly to dry skin before stepping into the shower, and then rinsed.

I used this as a daily exfoliation to help whilst I'm losing my baby weight. As I was using it daily it only lasted a few weeks, so was rather costly, however in future I'll be using this as a weekly treatment.

Detox Body Polish is a lovely scrub that works well and is not too harsh. The scent is beautiful and it's a pleasure to use.  Due to the oils my skin is left feeling soft and hydrated. As I only used this for a few weeks I can't say if it helped with detoxing or not.

Would I buy this? To use as a weekly scrub, yes. To use daily, no, it's too expensive.

Detox Body Polish costs $29.95 for a 250ml tub. In Essence products can be purchased online, from Myer, Priceline and David Jones stores.
