Samples I've been trialing

Lancome Genifique Youth Activator face serum - I used this for eight weeks and didn't notice any difference in my skin condition. It's a lovely, light serum that felt nice to apply, but for the price I expect to see results. I won't be buying this one.

Nivea Q10 Plus Tinted Day Cream - I really liked this moisturiser. It provided a good level of cover and was moisturising enough that I didn't need to use a separate moisturiser underneath it. I'll definitely purchase this.

Biore self heating mask - I was worried that this would be a little harsh for my slightly sensitive skin but it wasn't. The warming sensation felt really nice and after I'd taken the mask off my skin felt soft and smooth. This is another product that I'll purchase.

  1. I was going to try that Lancome serum, but I'll strike it off the list now. Thanks for the review!

  3. Is the Nivea cream good for dry skin do you think?

  4. Oooh, I have one of those heat masks stashed in my samples drawer somewhere. Might dig it out on the weekend.

  5. Sarah, if you want to try the Lancome serum see if you can get samples, it might work for you, but like SS says, it doesn't appear to be worth the $$ which is a shame.

O, I think you'd need to use a moisturiser under the Nivea cream if you have dry skin.

Dee, I really liked it, it's definitely worth testing out.

  6. That mask sounds good I might try it soon.

I tried my first mask the other day- the Natio purifying one and it broke me out which makes me sad.
