Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People

Today is the launch of The Body Shop's Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People campaign. For the second year, The Body Shop’s Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People campaign will be raising awareness of the scale and prevalence of the trafficking trade in human lives. The campaign is being run in conjunction with Child Wise, Australia’s leading international child protection charity working to prevent child abuse and exploitation in Australia, Asia and the Pacific.

In addition to raising awareness of the issue, The Body Shop are raising vital funds via the sale of a fundraising product. All profits from the sale of Soft Hand, Kind Heart Hand Cream (RRP $13.95) are being used to help change the lives of millions of children and young people through the work of Child Wise and affiliated groups in countries around the world.

The campaign launches on 26 July 2010 for three weeks, and the Soft Hand, Kind Heart Hand Cream will be available for six months or until sold out.
