MAC Tinted Lipglass

I'm sure you'll all be very surprised to hear that the first MAC product I bought was a Lipglass. They'd just set up a counter in Perth and it was the first that I'd heard of MAC. I know that seems hard to believe, but it was probably about 10 years ago and back then I wasn't the make-up addict that I am now. I loved make-up, but I didn't know a lot about it.

My first purchase was Lust. I loved the colour and the name. That was quickly followed by Spite which I also loved for the name as well as the colour.

MAC lipglasses are sticky, super shiny and long lasting. I like sticky glosses, in fact if given a choice of sticky or non sticky I prefer sticky glosses. They have great colour pigment and only need a layer or two to create a gorgeous, long lasting colour. Like all MAC lip products they have a lovely vanilla scent.

My favorites are Spite, Lust and Lovechild. Spite is a pinky taupe, Lust is a soft mid tone pink and Lovechild is a medium shimmery plum. I've gone through several tubes of these three colours, I keep on buying them over and over again.

MAC says: A unique lip gloss available in a wide variety of colours that can create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. Designed to be worn on its own, over Lip Pencil or Lipstick, Tinted Lipglass is the perfect product for creating shine that lasts. It's pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic colour. It contains Jojoba Oil to help soften and condition the lips. Tinted Lipglass is packaged in a convenient bottle with a sponge tip applicator that provides a quick, smooth, even application.

There are currently forty permanent lipglass colours available. There are also limited edition colours released with each new collection.

Would I buy these again? Yes, they're amongst my favorite glosses.

  1. MAC lipglasses are my favorite too. I love their stickiness...they stay on forever. I haven't tried any of those colors though. I want to try Lust now :).

Hi, thanks so much for your comment!
