The Body Shop Sage and Comfrey Blemish Gel

To my great disgust I still get the occasional pimple even though I'm in my 30's. In my opinion pimples should not occur after you are out of your teenage years! But since I do still get these horrible things, I need a good treatment for them.
I've been using Sage and Comfrey Blemish Gel for about 10 years and I swear by it. In fact I've converted so many people to it that The Body Shop should be paying me a commission!
It is a colourless gel that is applied to the spot a few times a day. It helps to dry out the pimple and makes it disappear faster. When I use this the pimple is usually gone within 2 days.
The gel is very lightweigh and sinks in quickly, so is not visible once applied. It contains Witch hazel which helps to cleanse and soothe blemishes. Infusions of sage and comfrey help to soothe the skin and allantoin (the active ingredient within comfrey) has soothing and conditioning properties.

  2. Ooh, I love the sound of a blemish gel that isn't loaded with chemicals, the chemical ones always seem to leave "burn marks" on my skin, thanks for the recommendation!

  6. Hi.. is there any similar products which contain the same formula with the sage n comfrey blemish gel. I've been using it for years until it's discontinued. Don seem to find anything which is equally effective. Why do they discontinued such a good product.

    1. I haven't found anything that works as well as this did, I really don't understand why they discontinued it, it was so good.
